CFM International’s LEAP engines, made in a joint venture and the sole option for Boeing’s 737 MAX, are increasingly available. CFM delivered 41% more LEAP engines in the first half of 2026 than in the same period of 2025 after supply-chain bottlenecks. That helps Boeing ramp production, clear backlogs, and reduce unit costs by avoiding aircraft stuck nearly complete while waiting for engines.
