Centrica Energy signed a physical tolling agreement with Zelestra for a 99 MW / 297 MWh battery storage project at Zelestra’s Hilgermissen BESS in Lower Saxony. Zelestra will develop, construct and own the asset, adding flexible capacity to a highly connected grid and one of Europe’s largest storage markets, while building on both firms’ European pipeline work.
