CenterPoint Energy announced a Customer Savings Initiative for Texas aimed at saving its Greater Houston residential and business customers more than $5 billion over the next decade. The plan is driven by adding up to 14 gigawatts of ERCOT eligible base-load and studied load projects and applies customer-protection requirements from 2025 Senate Bill 6.
