CBI Files FIR Against Nokia Solutions & Networks Employees for EPFO Fraud
The Central Bureau of Investigation registered a case against two Nokia Solutions & Networks India employees for allegedly siphoning about Rs 19.33 crore from the Employees Provident Fund Organisation through a payroll fraud. Investigators say the scheme exploited the company’s EPF exempt status transition and used fictitious beneficiaries, totaling 94 non-genuine accounts, with charges under multiple corruption and IT-related laws.
