CATL signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Schaeffler to cooperate on Battery Management Systems and X-in-One Integrated Power Management Systems for European automakers. The partnership combines Schaeffler on-board charger and power distribution expertise with CATL cell monitoring and high-voltage distribution to integrate functions, reduce wiring and components, enable lighter battery packs, lower vehicle costs, and improve range.
