CATL Partners With Moura to Bid in Brazil Capacity Reserve Auction

CATL announced a strategic partnership with Brazil’s Moura to jointly participate in the LRCAP 2026 capacity reserve auction for energy storage promoted by the Ministry of Mines and Energy. At the event, it highlighted a 30 MWh integrated sodium-ion system with a 20-year design life, 95% round-trip efficiency, and liquid cooling cutting auxiliary power by up to 20%. Its Registro battery system has supported a transmission substation for 15 cities and about 2 million residents since December 2022.
