CATL says its 350 Wh/kg aviation battery cells passed a stringent safety verification showing no thermal propagation when two adjacent cells were triggered simultaneously, including middle and corner locations. The prismatic-cell aviation battery system is ready for mass production and is set to be used first in Autoflight passenger eVTOLs.
