CATL announced it reached carbon neutrality in core operations as of end-2025, using 100% zero-carbon electricity for production. Twenty battery factories gained ISO 14068-1 zero-carbon certification, and unit energy consumption fell 28% vs 2022. With 2025 output of 748GWh, CATL said supply-chain emissions still exceed core emissions by over five times and is engaging 30 key suppliers to cut footprints ahead of EU battery rules.
