Carnival Corporation set a new 25% greenhouse-gas emissions intensity reduction target by 2029, lifting its prior goal by five points and moving the timeline up by a year. It says it already reached the earlier 2030 target five years early and expects fuel-efficiency gains to save about $650 million in 2026 versus 2019 levels, supported by efficiency investments and more efficient new ships.
