Ronald Khosla discovered that all Canopy data stored with Microsoft was deleted on June 11, after Microsoft retired nonprofit Microsoft 365 offers. Microsoft advised nonprofits to switch before renewal. Khosla got a May 2025 notice but had an earlier email confirming access until Oct. 4, 2026, and another child healthcare group reportedly lost data without receiving a termination notice despite $0 invoices.
