Bank of Montreal posted strong fiscal third-quarter results with adjusted ROE of 14% and EPS of $2.84, beating estimates of $2.71. Adjusted net income rose 19% to $2.86 billion and revenue reached $7.11 billion. The bank will buy back up to 25 million common shares, about 3.6% of its float, starting around Sept. 8, 2026, and targets 15% ROE by 2027, though valuation caps upside.
