Canada Goose Faces 50% U.S. Tariff on Canadian Apparel Imports
Canada Goose said most goods were made in Canada in fiscal 2026, with nearly all down-filled outerwear produced in company facilities. The company’s first-quarter fiscal 2027 results showed higher conversion, average order value and gross margin (62.4%). Still, a new 50% U.S. duty on Canadian apparel coincided with a 19% year-over-year U.S. revenue drop and weaker supplementary DTC comps as store demand softened.
