Campbell’s Plans $500M Spending Cuts and Lowers Quarterly Dividend
Campbell’s said it will cut costs by $500 million by fiscal 2030 through plant closures and workforce reductions after a poor fiscal year. The quarterly dividend falls from 39 cents to 25 cents. Operating earnings declined in both the Meals and Beverage and Snacks divisions as net sales and operating income dropped, with results also reflecting $60 million and $117 million brand-name write-downs.
