BYD says it has started mass production of a 4D millimeter-wave radar chip that uses its Xuanji A3 smart-driving chip as the computing hub. The radar has a detection range above 400 meters and targets Level 2 through Level 4 driving, including highway assistance, urban driving, parking and blind-spot monitoring, built on an ISO 26262 ASIL B and AEC-Q100 design.
