BYD launched the Sealion 08 flagship SUV under its Ocean lineup, offering fully electric and plug-in hybrid variants starting at 229,900 yuan. The model drew more than 12,000 orders within 24 hours of its September 2 launch, with fast charging and ranges up to 800 km for AWD and up to 400 km pure-electric CLTC for the PHEV. It also comes with a large AR head-up display and premium interior features.
