BYD Flash Charging claims 20%-97% in 12 minutes at -30°C

BYD says its Flash Charging can bring a battery from 20% to 97% in 12 minutes at -30°C, backed by tests using its second-generation Blade Battery. It also reports charging up to 1,500 kW and 9 minutes from 10% to 97% in normal conditions. The company opened its 10,000th Flash Charging station in China, covering 332 cities, and aims for 20,000 by end-2026.
