BYD August NEV Sales Rise 17.8% to 440,293 as Overseas Hits Record

BYD sold 440,293 NEVs in August, its highest monthly total this year and a fourth straight year-on-year increase. Overseas sales jumped 134.45% to a record 189,466 units, while domestic sales fell 14.34% to 250,827. Passenger NEVs rose 16.66% and BEVs reached record 256,230. First-half revenue and net profit also declined.
