HuffPost’s National desk was cut to three reporters after BuzzFeed’s latest layoffs took effect Monday, with management laying off 10 members of the HuffPost Union. Jessica Schulberg said the desk had seven reporters before the cuts and was reduced from 14 a little over a year ago. The HuffPost Union said it fought for severance and unused PTO, and noted management declined to offer voluntary buyouts.
