Inmarsat Maritime received Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore Cyber Security Type Approval for NexusWave, its fully managed, bonded multi-network connectivity service. BV assessed compliance with IACS Unified Requirement E27, following earlier ClassNK approval for the same requirement. The review covered NexusWave security controls, onboard ICT architecture, network equipment, orchestration processes and managed service edge infrastructure to provide independent assurance of cyber resilience.
