Burckhardt Compression secured orders to supply compressor packages for Petrobras’ Boaventura Energy Complex in Itaborai, Rio de Janeiro. The equipment will support natural gas processing and new refining and lubricant production units across three projects handled by EPC firms. The Boaventura complex, previously Comperj, is tied to Petrobras decarbonisation plans including research into green hydrogen, biorefining and sustainable aviation fuel, while Burckhardt highlights strengthened service presence in Brazil.
