British Airways 747 party plane, Delta exhibit, and Bahrain dive site
British Airways retired its Boeing 747s in 2020, preserving one as a flightless party plane at England’s Cotswold Airport. Delta converted another into the 747 Experience exhibition in 2017, while Falcon Aircraft Recycling sank a 747 in 2019 to create a diving tourism site in Bahrain. The aircraft previously flew for Singapore Airlines and later logged 1,500+ test hours with GE.
