Bristol Myers said Cellares’ Cell Shuttle platform cannot meet requirements to manufacture its CAR-T therapy Breyanzi at commercial scale, so the companies’ 2024 manufacturing capacity deal is ended for Breyanzi’s approved process. The agreement covered reserved capacity across the U.S., EU and Japan, while Cellares CEO warned of workforce resizing after losing a major customer.
