Breakthrough buys former Seagen/Pfizer Everett biomanufacturing plant for $78M
Breakthrough Properties acquired a 270,000-square-foot bio-manufacturing facility in Everett, Wash., for $78 million and leased the campus for 21 years to an unnamed global biopharmaceutical company. The plant was built by Seagen with about $350 million in investment but never opened after Pfizer bought Seagen in 2023, when Pfizer evaluated its manufacturing network for capacity use.
