BPCL to sell groceries with LPG and launch in-app payment gateway

State-run Bharat Petroleum will expand beyond fuel by delivering groceries at customers’ doorsteps alongside LPG cylinders. The company is pursuing a bigger ecommerce push using its fuel-station and LPG-distributor network as “dark stores”, with select LPG dealerships as fulfillment points. It also plans a payment gateway in the Hello BPCL app to take digital payments at its retail outlets.
