Venezuelan acting president Delcy Rodríguez held an agreement-signing ceremony with BP and other consortium executives as BP expanded offshore natural-gas exploration. Shell was granted the Loran Phase 2 license, and BP will operate the 1 Tcf Cocuina-Manakin field with Trinidad and Tobago’s NGC after selling 20% of its stake. Atlantic LNG in Trinidad is set to process most output.
