BP Puts North Sea Unit Up for Sale With Potential Buyers In Sight
BP’s North Sea business is being considered for sale by potential buyers including Adura and NEO Next+, alongside EnQuest, Harbour Energy, Ithaca Energy, Serica and Var Energi. BP had previously said it is putting the unit up for a potential divestment as part of its portfolio review, with a value reported at about GBP2 billion and around 1,100 staff. CEO Meg O’Neill said UK policy changes would not alter the plan.
