BP Agrees to Buy Woodside’s 70% Stake in Trinidad’s Calypso Gas Project
BP agreed to acquire Woodside Energy’s 70% stake in the Calypso offshore gas project in Trinidad and Tobago, taking full 100% ownership and becoming the development operator. The deal covers Block TTDAA 14, an early-stage deepwater project that could add supply for BP’s existing Trinidad operations. No purchase price or timetable was disclosed, and development is not yet committed.
