Borrowers Sue Lennar Over Data Breaches Exposing Social Security Numbers
Two data breaches at Lennar exposed mortgage borrowers’ Social Security numbers and financial data, a class action alleges. The suit says intruders gained access via social engineering and that Lennar learned around March 30, 2026, nearly four months after the first intrusion began. It claims at least 61,295 people were affected and puts disputed damages above $5 million.
