BorgWarner wins new VCT engine contracts for Europe and China

BorgWarner secured Europe and China contracts for its centre-bolt Cam Torque Actuated (CTA) VCT system. In Europe, it won a programme life extension and higher volumes for a premium V6 engine family starting January 2027. In China, it won a conquest award for a high-volume 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine family, replacing the prior supplier, with production starting September 2026.
