Boeing Subsidiary Aurora Opens Major Expansion in Mississippi

Aurora Flight Sciences, part of Boeing, celebrated the grand opening of a major Mississippi manufacturing expansion that adds nearly 50,000 square feet and renovates 40,000 square feet. The site will bring new automation, robotics, machining, and non-destructive inspection for composite components and assemblies, supporting aircraft programs including MQ-25A Stingray. With about 120 employees on-site, Aurora expects workforce growth of more than 30% over four years and will expand local training partnerships.
