Boeing Sells Wisk Aero Stake to Refocus on Core Aerospace Business
Boeing said it is selling Wisk Aero, shedding a struggling non-core air taxi business as it pursues turnaround efforts. After a 2024 portfolio review, Boeing’s major divestitures include selling Jeppesen for $10.6 billion in 2025 and selling Wisk, Insitu and SkyGrid for a nearly 20% Archer Aviation stake worth just over $1 billion. Boeing will use Wisk autonomous-flight technology via a collaboration agreement, while air taxis face commercial and regulatory hurdles.
