Boeing Sale of Wisk to Archer Seen as Risk Offload, Not New Divestment Wave
Boeing is selling its Wisk stake to Archer, with the Archer holding valued at just over $1B at Thursday’s share price. Although Boeing receives its equity only after closing, the deal is positioned as reducing costly distractions from slower, more difficult eVTOL development and certification. Boeing and Archer will collaborate and share Wisk’s core autonomous-flight technology.
