Boeing, Lufthansa and Rolls-Royce will run flight tests of innovations aimed at improving fuel efficiency and reducing noise, continuing through mid-August. The work includes more efficient inlet and Intelligent Operations flight paths evaluated in Boeing’s ecoDemonstrator Explorer. The program has previously tested 260+ technologies to lower fuel use, emissions and noise while improving operations and passenger experience.
