Boeing Engineers’ Union Rejects Contract Offer, Sets Up Possible Strike
More than two-thirds of a Boeing union of engineers and technicians voted to reject a contract offer, including nearly a 30% wage rise over four years, and authorized a potential strike if the current deal expires on Oct. 6. The Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace, representing about 17,000 workers, cited deep distrust between members and corporate management and noted prior strikes in 2024 and 2025.
