BMW is expanding its Upstate South Carolina operations by signing a long-term lease for a cross-dock logistics facility at Mid85 in Wellford, along the I-85 corridor and within Spartanburg County. The company’s distribution presence will add to its existing footprint, following a recent $1.7 billion facilities investment that included battery assembly in Woodruff and bringing total investment in the state to nearly $16 billion.
