BMW Reaches 2 Million Electric Vehicle Deliveries as Neue Klasse Gains Momentum
BMW and MINI have delivered two million fully electric vehicles worldwide since the BMW i3 began production in late 2013. In the first half of 2026, more than one in four BMW Group vehicles sold worldwide was electrified, with fully electric models at about 28% in Europe. The two-millionth BEV was a BMW i5 M60 xDrive built in Dingolfing and delivered in Spain, as Neue Klasse and models like iX3 and new i3 production ramp up BMW’s EV transition.
