BMS CAR T Trial Success Strengthens Derisking Path for Myeloma Therapy
Bristol Myers Squibb’s CAR T arlocabtagene autoleucel cleared its registrational Phase 2 mid-stage study in relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma. In the QUINTESSENTIAL trial, patients saw significant overall and complete response-rate improvements, positioning the therapy for quadruple-class exposed patients. The cell therapy remains under FDA review, targeting a Dec. 23 action date.
