BioNTech to expand global mRNA manufacturing with Singapore GMP site

BioNTech’s Singapore mRNA facility will add regional manufacturing capacity to support its growing mRNA vaccine and therapeutics pipeline across Asia Pacific, starting with a range of mRNA candidates and authorized infectious-disease products. After full build-out it expects capacity for up to several hundred million mRNA vaccine doses annually. The integrated site will be in BioNTech’s Asia Pacific affiliate and is expected to create more than 100 jobs by 2024.
