Biocon Biologics gets Japan approval for pegfilgrastim biosimilar

Biocon Biologics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Biocon, received marketing approval from Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare for its pegfilgrastim biosimilar. The treatment, biosimilar to Neulasta, is developed and manufactured by Biocon Biologics and will be exclusively promoted, sold and distributed by Sandoz K.K. in Japan, expanding Biocon’s biosimilar portfolio.
