Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited has secured a major EPC contract worth over Rs 21,000 crore, excluding GST, from Meja Urja Nigam Private Ltd for a 3x800 MW supercritical thermal power project at Meja in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. LNTP runs for 10 months, after which DVC is expected to award the main plant package; overall completion is set for 70 months from the NOA date.
