Berkshire Cash Drops to $366B as It Buys Delta, Macy's, and Repurchases
Berkshire Hathaway ended Q1 with cash down to about $366B from $397B, while starting to redeploy idle funds. In Q2 it spent about $1.6B to add Delta Air Lines shares and roughly $100M to expand its Macy’s position, and it also used $4.5B for Berkshire share repurchases after selling around $3.7B of other equity holdings.
