Bath & Body Works Sees Digital Growth Yet Expects Sales Decline
Direct net sales rose 3% to $275 million, supported by lower free-shipping thresholds and digital improvements, and digital customers increased through better discovery and personalization. Still, total net sales fell 2.3% to $1.51 billion and U.S. and Canadian store sales dropped 5.4% to $1.13 billion. CEO Daniel Heaf said the positive digital signs weren’t broad enough for an overall inflection.
