Bank of Montreal’s normal course issuer bid can repurchase up to about 3.6% of its public float or issued and outstanding common shares, based on figures as of August 31, 2026. The bank will run an automatic purchase plan starting September 8, 2026 through its broker under set criteria at market prices. Its prior $30 million share repurchase bid ran from September 5, 2025 to September 4, 2026, with 23,667,500 shares repurchased by August 31, 2026 at a VWAP of about $197.76.
