Bajaj Auto-owned KTM swings to first operating profit since bankruptcy

Austrian filings show KTM’s Bajaj Mobility AG posted €1.3m EBIT profit in Apr-Jun versus a €164.7m loss a year earlier, as revenue rose 61% to €370m. Net loss narrowed to €12m while inventories fell by 10,190 units and staff fell to 3,416. Bajaj infused €600m through a €450m loan and convertible bonds, and its own quarterly revenue and net profit rose 65% and 44%.
