Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises signed an agreement with Siemens Energy for 20 steam turbine generator sets totaling 1 GW of rated capacity for FastPower data-center power projects, with each unit rated at 50 MW. Siemens Energy can begin work on the equipment, though contract value, delivery timing, fuel and configuration were not disclosed. A prior Siemens deal targeted an Applied Digital AI Factory using natural-gas-fired plants.
