Azerbaijan discusses green energy and low-carbon products with Uniper

Cooperation on green energy and low-carbon products was discussed between Azerbaijan’s Renewable Energy Agency and German utility Uniper. During a Sept 1 seminar in Düsseldorf, Uniper executives met AREA officials to review plans under a July 21, 2026 Berlin strategic partnership on green hydrogen, energy efficiency, green corridors and related infrastructure. Uniper CEO Michel Lewis also joined a business association board.
