Japanese small satellite operator Axelspace said it signed a partnership with Airbus Defence and Space to sell medium-resolution optical Earth observation imagery from Axelspace’s GRUS satellites. The deal is set to pair the GRUS constellation with Airbus’s Earth observation sales reach for customers in sectors such as agriculture, environmental monitoring and infrastructure, alongside Airbus’s optical and radar imagery expertise.
