Audi Hungaria said it will not be affected by Volkswagen Group’s Sept. 3 Supervisory Board decision on planned workforce reductions, and that no changes to Győr plant capacity utilization are planned. The group must by June 2027 outline a sustainable production structure across European sites, with excess capacity prompting possible facility repurposing. Under Future Plan 2030, it plans a further 50,000 job cuts, including management.
