AT&T Sues Charter for False Ads Over Fiber-Powered Claims
AT&T claims Charter deceives consumers by advertising its broadband as “fiber powered,” allegedly implying fiber-to-the-home service. AT&T says most Spectrum Internet uses a hybrid fiber-coaxial network with a copper coaxial “last mile.” The suit was filed in Texas federal court. Separately, Charter says CFO Jessica Fischer will depart Oct. 15 and interim CFO Kevin Howard will take over; a spokesperson says the NAD already rejected prior complaints.
