Ashok Leyland signed an MoU with the Government of Haryana to establish an Institute of Driving Training & Research in Ambala. Spanning about 13 acres, the IDTR will provide scientific and practical training for HMVs and LMVs, with road-safety and modern vehicle-handling focus. It is set to train around 2,000 new and 20,000 existing drivers annually, using digital classrooms, simulators, demonstrations, medical facilities, and hostels.
